Fried double sweet corn

Sweet corn fried in butter and brown sugar. An old family favorite side dish with ham, pork or chicken

Preparation

Best made in a cast iron skillet. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat and add brown sugar and salt, stir to mix. Add corn and fry over medium heat, stirring often. Fry until corn becomes carmalized and sticky. This is very good with fresh sweet corn in season. Serve immediately as a side dish. Especially good with salty meats like ham or grilled chicken. Amount of time you fry it is up to your taste. It is great once it is nice and hot but our family likes it very carmelized and sticky.
