A easy and very tasty fried rice recipe
1 cup Cooked Rice
1/2 Red Onion
1 teaspoon ginger/garlic paste
1 cup frozen vegetables
5 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon fish sauce
2 eggs
1/2 Red Pepper
2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
a little chili paste
simple stir fry the onion, garlic, peppers and veggies, scramble the eggs into the mixture
then add in the cooked rice little by little adding the fish sauce, chili/garlic paste to taste and soy to taste.
This is so easy, and you can add any veggies you like or meats, its a great way to use up vegetables in the fridge. It would also make a wonderful packed lunch, I often make it for hubby to take to work.
I like many different fried rice recipes. Where do you get fish sauce and what brand, please?
>teri you need to rinse ur rice for 2 min b4 cooking to remove all the starch from it,if u do this ur rice will not gum up!good luck,,,pam
