Garlic Butter Shrimp
Description
Here is a super, super simple dish that is really tasty and versatile enough to be paired with almost anything -- rice, pasta, salad... you name it. In the photo attached I have some various greens plated with the shrimp.

1 pound Fresh shrimp
1/4 stick butter
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 tsp parsley
Preparation
1) Prep work - you'll want to chop your garlic extremely thin, along with your parsley which will be used to add a bit of color to the dish. Set these aside.
2) Prep work - I'd suggest using fresh shrimp for this dish, but if you need to use frozen shrimp you'll want to ensure that the shrimp is fully defrosted before using. Set these aside, too.
3) In a bowl, microwave 1/4 stick of butter for 15-20 seconds until the butter is slightly softened. Add your garlic and parsley to the butter and stir.
4) In a pan, set the heat to medium/high and add olive oil. After a few seconds, add your shrimp. You'll want to move the shrimp around so that they don't burn or take on too much color from the heat. When they start to turn slightly white, reduce the heat and add the garlic butter mixture to the pan. They'll continue to cook in the garlic butter.
5) When the shrimp is cooked, remove from the heat and let them sit for a few minutes. Ready to serve! Enjoy.
