Glazed Pork Chops & Apples

Here's a delicious pork chop recipe. It would be perfect for a dinner party.

6 boneless pork chops
1 Tbsp. oil
1 cup beef broth
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/3 cups french fried onions
2 apples, cored and chopped into 1/2 in. wedges
1/4 cup all purpose flour
salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper to taste. Coat pork chops with flour and shake off excess. In a large skillet, heat the oil. Cook the pork chops for 5 mins. on each side. Remove the meat and set aside. In the skillet, add broth, vinegar, brown sugar, and 2/3 cup french fried onions. Heat to boiling point, stirring constantly. Place pork chops back to the skillet. Reduce heat to med. low. Cook about 10 mins. covered. Add the apples and cook 2 mins. Garnish with remaining french fried onions. This can be served with seasoned rice or mashed potatoes.
