Hamburger Stew

Submitted by:

Description

My mother made this often when I was growing up and it was a staple in my house when my children were young. With just 3 ingredients, it's easy to see why this super-simple recipe would be popular with busy moms! I like to serve this with garlic toast and a side salad. It's also delicious served over rice.

Preparation

In a large skillet, brown ground beef and drain off fat. Return beef to skillet and add drained vegetables and spaghetti sauce. Stir to combine and season to taste with salt and pepper. Simmer on low heat until stew has started to bubble and vegetables are heated through.

What an inventive recipe. I never would have thought to use spaghetti sauce.

When does the spaghetti sauce get used?

Sorry Daisy! I never saw the mistake! Just add the spaghetti sauce when you add the veggies. Thanks for catching this!

The ingredient list is not appearing on my screen. What vegetables did you use for this soup? Thanks.
