Homemade Blue Cheese Dressing

Submitted by:

Description

My great aunt makes this creamy dressing all the time and I was amazed at how easy it is to make. Drop a spoonful on top of your favorite leafy greens, dollop some on top of a burger, or even spread some onto a sandwich. There is nothing like fresh dressing!

add to shopping list Ingredients

½ gallon mayonnaise (can use fat free also)
¾ pound blue cheese, crumbled
6 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
½ teaspoon white pepper (may use black)
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 quart buttermilk
1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients together and stir well. Mixture should be fully combined, but will have lumps. Place in the fridge in an airtight container with a lid. Refrigerate until cool. Now you are ready to serve!
