Homemade Green Tea Soda
Description
There are several green tea sodas available in grocery stores throughout the United States, but it's just as easy to make your own at home. This single serving recipe can easily be made to serve as many mouths as you have to feed. Each serving contains only 1 Tablespoon of sugar as opposed to the 3+ typically found in a can of commercial soda.

1 green tea bag
1/4 cup water
1 T Sugar
3 - 4 ice cubes
1 - 1 1/4 cups sparkling water
Preparation
Pour the 1/4 cup of regular water into a tall glass with room enough for two cups of liquid. Add the tea bag and microwave for 45 seconds. Let steep for 3-5 minutes.
Remove the tea bag, squeezing the excess liquid from it. Add the tablespoon of sugar and mix well until dissolved. Add the ice cubes and then the sparkling water. Stir and serve!
To make for more than one person, simply multiply the recipe. For instance, if serving for four, microwave 1 cup of water for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes. Place tea bags in each individual glass and add 1/4 of the warmed water to each. Finish the recipe.
