2 lbs Salmon, cut into 4 pieces
1/4-1/2 cup honey
2 Tbsp sweet chilli sauce
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tsp dry mustard powder
1 Tbsp grape seed or olive oil
1 Tbsp sesame seeds
salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Place sesame seeds on a baking sheet and toast in oven for 8-10 minutes. Watch carefully so seeds don't burn. Remove from oven. Turn oven up to 375 degrees.
Mix remaining ingredients together. Place salmon pieces in an ovenproof dish, skin side down. Make cuts in the flesh side of each fillet.
Pour sauce over salmon and marinade for 30 minutes.
Bake for 15 minutes. Turn on broiler and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Watch carefully so sauce doesn't burn. Fish is ready when it flakes easily with a fork.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
