Hot Crabmeat Spread
Description
Of all the hot crabmeat dips and spreads I have tried over the years, this one is always at the top of the list. I made this for a company Christmas party years ago and it has been a favorite ever since. Be warned: this is so delicious you will want to make a double batch as it will disappear FAST!

Preparation
Soften cream cheese to room temperature or for a few seconds in the microwave (unwrapped). In a medium bowl, combine cheese with remaining ingredients. Pour cheese and crab mixture into a 9x9 (or 1 qt.) casserole. Sprinkle with paprika and bake at 350 degrees until bubbly and light brown, about 15 minutes. Serve with crackers, toast or pita wedges.

Sorry everyone....ingredients list seems to have disappeared! Here you go:
8 ounces softened cream cheese
1 tablespoon milk
6 ounces fresh or frozen crab meat, finely flaked
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon horseradish
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup toasted sliced almonds (optional)
This looks really easy and tasteful. We do potlucks all the time by the lake. Can't wait to bring this scrumtious appetizer. I am sure everyone will love it. I will be making this for our Memorial Day cookoff. I am excited. Thank you. Benigna Marko
