Jalapeno Red Bean Salsa
Description
In an effort to break up with the vending machine I decided to try to make something to healthy to snack on to help me with this transistion.
I wanted something spicy and filling that I could eat without chips.
If you have time try using fresh ingredients.
add to shopping list Ingredients
2 Chopped Tomatoes
1 cup red beans
1 cup corn
1 cup garbanzo beans/chickpeas
6 tbp jalapeno dressing
1/4 cup Chopped Onions
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup green pepper
to taste Cayenne Pepper
to taste salt/pepper
Preparation
1. Mix all ingredients except for salad dressing
3. Add 3 tablespoons of dressing and stir
4. Add other 3 tablespoons and stir (helps to coat ingredients when split)
5. Marinate overnight if time permitting. If not serve with chips
