This recipe came from an old community cookbook that was my mother’s. I remember she used to serve it when she and my dad had friends over to play cards, and it was a favorite at potlucks and super-bowl parties too. It's tangy with a little bit of a "kick" from the cayenne.

I got this recipe from one of my sorority sisters about five years ago, and since then it has become a favorite of my friends and family. In fact, one of my friends texted me the other day to get the recipe so she could make it for her family reunion. It is always a hit. With only four ingredients, this cheeseball doesn't require much time or effort. But, it definitely isn't short on taste!

I love to order Caesar salad when I go out to dinner, but I never was able to duplicate that wonderful taste at home. Bottled Caesar dressings never seemed to satisfy, and boxed croûtons never had the same flavor or crunch. Finally, one day I came across this recipe in my Mother's recipe box. It is simple enough that anyone can make it, but tastes just as good as the ones you get at an Italian restaurant. Serve it as a starter, a side dish, or even top it with some grilled chicken or shrimp and serve as a meal. I think Caesar Cardini, himself (inventor of Caesar salad...not Julius Caesar, as some people like to think) would approve!

One of the easiest appetizer recipes that I know of. My family always asks me to bring this when we are having gatherings for holidays, etc. My mother especially loves it. Serve it with chips, crackers, bread, or vegetables. Even better, slap it on top of a bagel, spread it on a sandwich or even a wrap. Enjoy!

Of all the hot crabmeat dips and spreads I have tried over the years, this one is always at the top of the lsit. I made this for a company Christmas party years ago and it has been a favorite ever since. Be warned: this is so delicious you will want to make a double batch as it will disappear FAST!

Great Grandma, Lucille, used to make these Asian inspired chicken wings. Most of my family cannot handle very spicy food, so these wings were a great alternative to the hot variety. Serve these at a Sunday football party and I guarantee that no one will be complaining about the lack of heat. The flavor makes up for it!

Dips are prefect for entertaining, and this one will make all your friends and family want to gather at your house! It is simple to prepare and very versatile. Serve it with tostada chips (of course), or even slap it in an omelet, or top a burger or sandwich with it. Fiesta time!

When we have company I love to make this simple recipe and it is always a hit. Nothing says party more than chips and dip, and this version of the seven layer dip is sure to please. Play with different ingredients and create your own version, or use this quick recipe and have a delicious dip ready in no time!

This is a great appetizer for holiday parties. I got the idea from my grandpa. He used to make these when he was teaching me different things to do with bread.

Deviled eggs are an entertaining staple, yet they can sometimes be boring. I added a few things to this recipe to make sure these deviled eggs will be the life of the party. Next time you have company coming over, just whip these up and watch how fast they disappear!

My Aunt taught me how to make these delicious stuffed mushrooms a few years ago. Anytime we have a family gathering we all fight over them because they are so delicious. Try them and you will see how addicting they are. You may need rehab for these fabulous mushrooms!

These fantastic sweet and sour little sausages are a tradition in our family and no holiday is complete without them. They are also great for potlucks and office parties...take them and watch them disappear! I guarantee you will get asked for this recipe!

My step-mother makes this spinach dip for parties and I have been trying to get the recipe from her for years. At first inspection, the ingredients are actually very simple, but you would never know it from the taste. Serve with crackers, bagel chips, bread, veggies, etc. The possibilities are endless.
