My family loves French dressing. The tangy taste goes great with salads or meats, and is healthier than cream based dressings. This homemade dressing recipe comes from my Great Grandma, Lucille. You can prepare this recipe in just 20 minutes and store what you don't use. I hope you like it as much as my family does. |

Barbecue sauce is a must have when you live in Texas because many holidays are spent outside grilling with family and friends. What better to top those lovely burgers or chicken breasts than tangy barbecue sauce? Of course you can use a jarred version if you want to, but homemade barbecue sauce is where it is at! This recipe that my Great Aunt makes is out of this world. It is super simple to make and tastes great! Try it for your next barbecue, and your family and friends will beg for the recipe! |

My great aunt makes this creamy dressing all the time and I was amazed at how easy it is to make. Drop a spoonful on top of your favorite leafy greens, dollop some on top of a burger, or even spread some onto a sandwich. There is nothing like fresh dressing! |

Great Grandma Lucille was not one for using canned sauces; she preferred to make her own. Boy were we lucky when she would whip up some of her famous homemade spaghetti sauce! Her recipe is actually extremely simple, so I am not sure why more people don't make their own every once in awhile. The difference in taste is amazing! Use fresh herbs to really give it a homemade touch. |
