MUSHROOM ALFEDO LASAGNA
Description
Semi homemade mushroom lovers lasagna with no tomato products

1 Pound sliced mushrooms
1 Jar Classic Mushroom Sauce
3 Strips bacon chopped
1/2 Cup chopped onion
1 TSpoon chopped garlic
2 Cups shredded smoked provolone cheese
1/2 Cup half & half
1 Dash nutmeg
8 Lasagna noodles soaked in hot water
Preparation
In a large container, soak noodles in hot water while preparing the rest of ingredients
Sautee bacon, onions, garlic and mushrooms until caramelized and golden brown
Do not drain
Start with a small amount of sauce in bottom of lasagna pan, I use a small loaf pan
It is wide enough for two noodles side by side
Place two noodles in sauce on the bottom of the pan
Add a slight layer of sauce
Add 1/3 of the mushrooms
Add 1/3 of provolone cheese
Repeat layers two more times
Add half & half to sauce jar and shake to mix
Top the lasagna with last layer of noodles
Pour thinned sauce over the top and add a dash of nutmeg
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes
Let cool for 10 minutes and cut to desired size and serve
This freezes very well in individual size pieces than can be heated in the microwave
