This is a simple way of fixing pork chops. They are tasty and can be fixed in a number of ways. You can add sauces to them like barbecue, berry vinaigrette, of tomato sauce. I chose to just put salt on mine. I made a few with barbecue sauce, and one with the vinaigrette.
4 1/2 inch thick pork chops
Salt to taste
sauce of your choice
2 Tablespoons Oil
Pre heat the oven to 450 degrees. Place frying pan on high heat with a little oil in the bottom of the pan to coat it. When the frying pan and oil are heated up carefully place the pork chop in the oil. Do not move them at all for atleast 2 minuets. (this helps the browning) Flip and brown the other side. Place on casserole dish and coat with your sauce. Place in oven to cook until the juices run clear. About 10 minuets. Serve.
My sister cooks the tastiest pork chops and then makes gravy to cover the mashed potatoes. Same recipe.
