This is the easiest candy recipe that you could ever ask for and it’s just divine. This asks for dark or bittersweet chocolate but you can make it with whatever you might desire at the moment. Choose from the darks or use milk chocolate or white if you prefer. For Christmas I’m going to try swirling bittersweet and white to make Marble Pecan Clusters. One very important thing that you don’t want to forget, make a lot! everyone will be grabbing than and they do not last long at all. This recipe amount is for 2 dozen but it will multiply to as much as you want with no problem. This is perfect for gifts too *wink*.
lb bittersweet chocolate or semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans, toasted
.Microwave chocolate in 8-inch glass baking dish uncovered on defrost power about 2-3 minute; stir.
.Continue to microwave, stirring after each 30 seconds, until you can melt the remaining pieces by stirring , about 2-3 minutes.
.Add pecans and stir to coat.
.Line baking sheet with waxed paper.
.Using well rounded teaspoons full, drop pecan mix in 24 mounds on waxed paper.
.Let stand until firm, refrigerating if necessary.
.Store in airtight container in refrigerator up to 3 weeks (like they will stand a chance of lasting that long!).
