A quick and easy chocolate candy that is perfect for holiday baking and gift giving. Originally from a recipe by Paula Deen.
1 7 ounce jar of marshmallow creme
3/4 pound chocolate morsels
2 1/2 cups Sugar
1 6 oz. can of evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter
2 cups pecan halves
Place marshmallow creme and chocolate morsels in large bowl. In saucepan bring sugar, milk, and butter to a boil and cook over medium heat for 8 minutes. Pour hot mixture over chocolate and marshmallow creme and stir until melted and blended. Stir in pecans and drop by teaspoons onto waxed paper. Allow to cool completely to set up.
