Pork Chop Casserole

I remember my step dad throwing this dish together when i was a young girl the first time i remember eatting it was when my mom had my baby brother and was in the hospital waiting to come home

8 boneless pork chops
7 or 8 as many as disired peeled sliced potatoes
1 family size can cream of mushroom soup
1 small can sliced mushrooms
1 cup water
12 - 16 slices Velvetta cheese
Preparation
First you place the boneless uncooked pork chops touching side by side in the bottom of ungreased casserole pan then you slice potatoes "like for fried as many as disired" and layer them over the uncooked porked chops then you mix the can of cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 of a can of water in separate bowl leave kind of thick but not to thick mix the can of drained sliced mushrooms in with the mushroom soup and pour the whole mixture over the potatoes cover with aluminum foil and preheat oven to 350 degrees bake till potatoes are tender about 25 to 30 minutes remove from oven and slice your velvetta cheese as thick as disired and cover your potatoes leaving about a 1/2 inch space between slices of cheese place back in oven uncovered till cheese is melted and enjoy
