1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 lb ground sausage or ground pork
1 packet french onion soup mix (1 1/2 oz)
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
2 T worchestershire sauce
2 T ranch dressing
1/2 t ground black pepper
For the toppings:
1/2 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
Frenchs brand french fried onions (optional)
Lettuce , tomato and other toppings of choice

1. Combine the first 8 ingredients in a large bowl and mix well with wet hands.

2. Place approx. 1/2 cup of the mixture in your hands and quickly and gently form a patty about 3/4" thick.

Repeat to form the rest of the patties.

Make a small indent in the center of each patty with your thumb, this compensates for the burgers swelling during cooking.

Keep refrigerated until just before cooking.

3. Preheat the grill to 500F - 525F and carefully oil the grates so the burgers don't stick.

Remove the hamburgers from the refrigerator and place on the grill and close the lid.

4. After 5 - 6 minutes the burgers should be ready to flip.

After flipping put the rest of the grated parmesan on top of each patty with some of the french fried onions (optional).

Close the lid.

5. After another 5 - 6 minutes the internal temperature of the burgers should be between 160F and 165F and ready to remove from the grill.

Remove the burgers to a serving platter and cover with aluminum foil for 5 minutes before serving.
