Stir Fried Tamarind Shrimp

This Stir Fried Tamarind Shrimp or Thai called "Goong Pad Nam Makham Piek" this is sweet and sour recipe, you can enjoy whole family.

add to shopping list Ingredients

5-6 large Shrimp
2 tbsp chopped onion
1tbsp fried garlic
2 tbsp palm sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp Maggi Seasoning
1 tbsp tamarind concentrate
1/2 cup warm water
1/4 cup vegetable oil

Preparation

1.Shell and devein shrimp.
Heat vegetable oil in a wok, and fry the chopped onions until fragrant.
2.Add salt, tamarind mixture, chile sauce, Maggi Seasoning, palm sugar, stir together well.
3.Add shrimp and cook until done.
Transfer to serving plate, and sprinkle with fried garlic and fried onion.
4.Serve hot with steamed rice.
