Super Healthy Steamed Quinoa
Description
Quinoa can be easily steamed with turmeric, cumin, whole oregano and garlic. A Japanese clam shell rice steamer (cheap at Target) works best. Mix it into a fabulous tabbouleh, use it as a side dish or soup base. It stays lovely for several days and makes anything from tuna salad to a main dish meal.

I like serving this as a side dish to a 7 vegetable Moroccan Tagine featuring lamb, red bell peppers, potato, celery, and whatever looks good in the refrigerator. Season with Ras al Hanout, a traditional Moroccan spice blend, or use onion, garlic and cloves. Use a crock pot if you have no Tagine.
