Sweet and Sour Meat Balls
Description
My mother always made this. I don't know where she got it. Every time I serve this or bring it to a party, it gets rave reviews.

l can tomato soup
l can jellied cranberry sauce
1-1/2 - 2 lbs. lean ground chuck
sm.amt. grated or dehydrated onion
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup bread crumbs or corn flake crumbs
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Dissolve soup and sauce in pot. Combine rest of ingredients and make small meat balls; drop into sauce pot and shake pan to cover meat. Cook, covered on slow heat for about 1 1/2 hours.
Instead of crumbs, you can use Minute Rice; no other seasoning. It can be a main dish over rice, or an appetizer.
