Heavenly, not only because the angels would decend to earth for them but also because they fall into the ”sin free” variety of chocolate pleasures. Maybe your honey will make them for you as a special breakfast in bed? Could this be where the sin comes in? *Update, the cocoa has been added at the end of the ingredients list. That was rather a serious omission. Thanks for the heads up Sugarpies.
This is a self created recipe. I wanted a special cookie that was easy to make and this was the result. It would be ideal for the Christmas season but it’s simple enough to be made at any time. There is a chill time so you’ll need to plan ahead just a bit. If your anything like me the waiting might make you a little nuts but the cookies are worth it.I wasn't able to enter that this recipe willl make 5 dozen cookies or that the baking time is 6-8 mins.
A quick make soup that is so delicious that you can tell folks that you slaved for hours.
This is a really delicious salad that has almost no fat in it. It’s great flavor comes from the vinegar, herbs and salt. It’s also very versatile, it’s wonderful hot or at room temp but I didn’t care for it cold. Since it has no mayonnaise it can stand at room temperature for a long time with no worries about it going bad. This is a marvelous choice for any diabetic or anyone wishing the trim fat from their diet. Since this used such simple and few ingredients it will benefit from the best olive oil (but no need to use extra virgin as you’ll be cooking it) and the best quality vinegar you can get. The salt is used as a garnish and Himalayan Pink is amazing here but easier to find Kosher salt is fine.
This is a truly delicious side dish that is far easier than the bursting flavor might lead your family or guests to believe. The garlic and lemon will really enhance your chicken or any white fish.
This recipe is amazing! I made it while DH was out and very briefly dropped them into the deep fryer (that I haven't used in 2 1/2 yrs!) just to get them evenly browned all around. At that point I stashed them in the oven warmer and made the rest of dinner. When DH got home everything was almost ready and I served him "meatballs in mushroom sauce" on brown rice. He LOVED them and had no idea that they weren't beef! In subsequent makings I haven't bothered with the deep frying and we both enjoy them.
What a delicious scone recipe. This was my first experience with lavender and I loved it! It originally ask for 1/3 cup of honey which I replaced with Splenda. They come out high, fluffy, moist and so tender. They aren't "sweet" but have a lovely rich flavor.
If you like chick peas you'll love this salad. It takes no time to make and waits nicely on the counter until your ready to use it.
A delicious mild coffee to enjoy when to have the time to make and slowly enjoy it's full flavored pleasure.
Simply outstanding bran muffins. I love, love, love that they use natural bran and not bran cereal with all of it additives. They aren't the giant ones you see that have tone of added fat. These are good for you and taste great.
I loved the simple, less complex, flavor that showcased the shrimp and the very mild touch of garlic. What a great summer dish. I'd recommend making it up early in the day and chilling it until lunch or whenever you want to use it. It was perfect on a seed covered cracker.
These are so simple to put together and utterly delicious. I much like the crab mix not being filled with onion, celery and the like thus letting the crab and lemon shine.
This is the easiest candy recipe that you could ever ask for and it’s just divine. This asks for dark or bittersweet chocolate but you can make it with whatever you might desire at the moment. Choose from the darks or use milk chocolate or white if you prefer. For Christmas I’m going to try swirling bittersweet and white to make Marble Pecan Clusters. One very important thing that you don’t want to forget, make a lot! everyone will be grabbing than and they do not last long at all. This recipe amount is for 2 dozen but it will multiply to as much as you want with no problem. This is perfect for gifts too *wink*.
I made this for tonights dinner and enjoyed it so much I just had to share! It's light enough to be a side salad if it's in smaller portions but it supplies meal sized fill up in the summer heat. The mint gives a fresh coolness that adds so much to the salad.
I truly hate the tomato soup that you get in cans and have as far back as I can remember. I had red bell pepper so that is what I used in this recipe even though it ask for green. The chunks of tomato, pepper and onion with the fragrant and flavorful herbs make an outstanding soup. At last, a tomato soup that actually tastes Great!
Pure delight made with extreme dark 79% cocoa drinking chocolate. I used skim milk and salted Adams smooth pb (I think the salt gave a nice added touch).
