favorite foods:
Pastry, I'm a fool for pastry, almost any kind of pastry. Help!
Crepes Batter (Jam Filled)
Don\'t you just know my weakness!
Fried Chicken, Potatoes, Salad & Fruit
If it tastes as wonderful as it looks, I might faint. I get very emotional about food!
Cream Biscuits
Theresa, this sounds wonderful and fairly simple. One question, do you think this would work with the lightest whole wheat flour one could find?
Chicken Breast Alfredo w/Paprika and Tarragon
Cut this one in half, since there\'s only one of me (what are you talking about? what am I, chopped liver?) Sorry, that\'s my evil twin speaking. I used Persaillotte (a combo of parsley, garlic and onion), along with fresh tarragon. I\'m almost through my last bottle and am edging toward panic. Albert Menes doesn\'t ship to the US, and the closer the bottom of the bottle, the more I up my meds. Anyone going to Paris in the near future?
Creme Brulee
You know, I was going to try this one, but I keep leaving my blowtorch in my other purse! You tease, you know this is one of my all-time favorites. You\'ll have to make it for me when you visit. Hmmm, that should be a fun-filled trip through airport security.
Mushroom Avocado Tomato Basil Pasta
If it tastes half as good as it looks, I don\'t blame you. What\'s it worth to you for me not to tell Joe?
Roasted Vegetables
The best thing about this recipe, is that when you want to make soup, it takes so much less time if you can simply reach in the fridge, pull out your roasted veggies, chop them up a bit, add them in et voila! Roasting first gives that added piquancy. Wish you could have tasted the soup I made last night!
Filet Mignon au Beurre Provençal
@sugarpies As soon as I take out a third mortgage on my condo, I\'m going to try this recipe. It looks wonderful! Either that or you could adopt me, since Theresa is sort of dragging her feet!
Shrimp Artichoke Pasta Marinara
Grilled mozzarella cheese sandwiches with seafood pasta marinara is what I\'m craving tonight.
Daddy's Cole Slaw
Theresa, this sounds wonderful. I like a sweet cole slaw. I\'m on my way to the store, and I\'m going to buy a head of cabbage and try this. I\'ll let you know how it comes out. Family recipes are always the best!
Fiesta Veggies Fruits & Pastas
this is going on my dinner table tonight. It looks light and filling. A pleasing combination.
Herb & Lemon Butter Tilapia
The delicate flavor of this fish is such a favorite of mine. Butter and lemon is all you need, but these herbs will lend a great touch.
Buttery BBQ Corn on the Cob
This even I could do. I\'ll try it in my oven.
Herb Flounder with Lemon Vinaigrette
Everyone needs a little fat in their diet. It helps to keep your coat glossy! This sounds easy and delicious. I find I eat more fish in summer. Wonder why?
Theresa's Surprise Pasta
I\'m so sorry about your little Christy, but you have created a dish fit for a queen in her honor. Perhaps you should have a beer more often. It seems to bring out your culinary talents. I want to know how the cherries in the dish tasted after absorbing the other flavors.
New Fried Chicken Wings
What happened to the six-star button? These look so wonderful I think I just gained a pound! :D
Black-Eyed Peas My Way
I would never have thought to add Portobello mushrooms to black-eyed peas.
