I came up with this recipe one day when I was feeling a little under the weather. After looking in my cupboards and saw what ingredients I had on hand , this is what came out of my oven.

This recipe was given to me by my husband\'s oldest sister. Banic is a truditional bread that the Canadian Indians and the American Indians ate with every meal. This bread accompanies the wild meat they shot and is also very filling.
