Garbanzos is a Spanish dish, best discription is a chickpea stew, very popular as a Tapas or a main dish on the Canary Isles. Ideal when entertaining large numbers, the recipe is for 4, but can be increased easily. As with most well flavoured foods, it can be and is best when prepared the day before.
