My first passion is cooking. I am a widow but still cook for myself every day. I write 3 blogs and love doing that almost as much as cooking. I\'m a TV buff and love to read, spend time with my friends and travel.
favorite foods:
Pasta, soups (homemade of course) chicken, cheese, raw oysters. These are favorites but there really is NO food that I don\'t like.
Pork and Sauerkraut
I have been making this for about 40 years and it\'s still one of my favorite things to eat. Sometimes I use spare ribs or pork steaks, but country ribs seem to be the best. Your post reminded me it\'s time to make this again. By the way, I found that cooking this dish in the slow cooker makes it so moist and keeps the liquid from evaportating. 3 hours on high, 4-5 hours on low does it.
