about me:

I am originally from Lithuania, but I have moved to Mumbai about 2 years back. Exploring Indian cuisine with some help from my hubby who is an excellent cook himself has become my new hobby.

favorite foods:

I definitely have all 32 sweet teeth as I love making and eating sweets. Other than that I enjoy variety of foods -- something different from each cuisine, mixing things up, keeping my taste buds alert =)

Thanks Theresa. We eat it as a side dish with some curry and rice and without any sauce. It\'s very juicy and I like eggplant flavor by itself. But it can be served with, for example, tomato chutney. One friend made it as a starter topped with smoked eggplant raita (similar to Lebanese baba ghannouj) and it worked :)

I love this coriander based glaze, I can imagine how well this goes with salmon. Coriander does add so much freshness.

My mouth was just watering while reading your recipe! I\'m adding it to my to do list. Can I substitute Chinese celery with something though?

It does happen when frying fish sometimes. I try to be extra careful when turning it so that even if the skin tears a little bit, I can manage to put it back. No one is in the kitchen to see it anyways, right? :)
