Thanks for those lovely recipes you added. You are so thoughtful Catherine. I sent you an email for Tammy for the laminated doughs and croissants. Hope these prove useful.
Well we dug out the VW after walking back to the car. It didn't take too long as the plows had cleared the main roadways. Thankfully we were almost home when this happened! Many motorists in the Washington area were in snarled traffic for up to 12 hours! I would have cried a few times over that. We have learned a valuable lesson and that is that when we know the snow is coming we won't go out to eat Chinese food at the restaurant.
We are snowed in and had to abandon our little VW Beetle last night. We trudged home and Joe with his long legs left me in the wind. Finally he and I made it home. We be back after digging out the vehicle. More Angels Later!
Did your kids dig you out from under the snow? I looked for you but figured you were either making angels in the snow or having snowball battles with the children. I'll be around today, in and out. Do stop by. Hugs Catherine!
My sweet friend. Happy Mother's Day on Sunday. I opened a new discussion about this celebratory occasion and hope you will add in your opinion, too. Lovely day.
I had a headache yesterday and retires early to close my eyes. Perhaps the pollen and eye strain are the culprits. I woke up @ 4AM and now I am ready to finish my nighty-night nap. See you later today.
I shall visit your blog to see what you have been doing. I hope we can hook up later this week or this Saturday. Now the weather is breaking, it is hard to get people to show up, because they have children or other exciting things to do.
I am going to make your peach cobbler but I intend to use my pie dough from Friday and line the bottom of the dish. After mass I will be fixing it and will photograph. Hugs!
Oh my dear! I thought about you when I heard about the rain and flooding. Glad you have your electricity back on. I can easily understand the tiredness you all must feel. Hugs back at you.
Contractor came out and getting the estimate ball rolling. The water stopped Sunday night and into Monday's wee hours. things are definitely looking up! Yay.
Thank you for the kind comments regarding the interview and blog. Yes, I guess our dinners are a bit iron chefish! Just no stress, and the winneris predetermined (hint: it's not me).
I realized the turmoil in Haiti in the wee hours of the AM and did whatever I could to get the blogger posting started. GOing to store and will be back by 8PM.
I know, I haven't done the award thing yet but I thank you very much. Been trying to play catch up but I did put your drink on my SKDD blog a few minutes ago. I'm hooked. Saturday Night Party!
