Dips are prefect for entertaining, and this one will make all your friends and family want to gather at your house! It is simple to prepare and very versatile. Serve it with tostada chips (of course), or even slap it in an omelet, or top a burger or sandwich with it. Fiesta time!
My step-mother makes this spinach dip for parties and I have been trying to get the recipe from her for years. At first inspection, the ingredients are actually very simple, but you would never know it from the taste. Serve with crackers, bagel chips, bread, veggies, etc. The possibilities are endless.
One of my family's dinner staples, the sloppy joe, is easy to make and tasty enough that even your kids will love them! These have a little spice to them, so you may want to omit the hot stuff if your mouth can't handle it. Serve these up with some tater tots, and some beans, and you have a simple meal that is done in minutes!
Here's an inventive take on jerk chicken. The Pick-a-peppa sauce gives it some spice, while the pineapple gives it some sweetness. Top it with some Monterrey jack cheese, for a little creaminess as well. You could even make this into a sandwich!
This is an old family recipe that is simple and delicious. I like to top mine off with gravy, but you can serve it plain, or add good ol' ketchup if you like. Serve it with mashed potatoes and a veggie and you have a filling meal that everyone will love. The next day make cold meat loaf sandwiches with the leftovers. Mmm, my favorite!
Cheesy hash brown casserole is a lifesaver when it comes to simple, delicious, side dishes. Not only is it easy to prepare, it also makes enough to feed a small army (Ok, I may be exaggerating a little, but you get my point). Serve it as a side dish, or even toss in some ham and turn it into a whole meal!
One of the easiest appetizer recipes that I know of. My family always asks me to bring this when we are having gatherings for holidays, etc. My mother especially loves it. Serve it with chips, crackers, bread, or vegetables. Even better, slap it on top of a bagel, spread it on a sandwich or even a wrap. Enjoy!
