I am pleased! thanks for that reassurance. I know... I eat meat but I do not want to think on it too much. What is her name, how old is she. Can you come tonight? We can all ooh and ahh over her photograph an you can explain how in the world you're going to turn that gallon of goat's milk into goat's cheese. I'm fascinated already!
We want to see your recipes. Add a few and they will be up before you know it. Then they will be spotlighted on the home page. Cool! Have lots of vacation fun!!
Thank you for letting me in on your vacation. I haven't have one in four years! Hope you are feeling much improved Amy! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Let me know when you return please. Thanks. Bon Voyage!
Excellent Amy. In the meantime, why not hang out in discussions whenever you feel up to it. We had a nice little gathering Saturday night. Check it out. Hugs!!
Oh Sweetie! I did wonder where in the heck you were. I imagined you were busy with the family, farm, writing and teaching your cooking classes. I will most assuredly place you on my prayer list. (saying prayer of healing right this very minute) Keep in touch and let me know how things turn out. Rooting for you!
That was us last year and although I do want snow, small quantities are welcome this time. Make some ice cream from the clean snow. That's old fashioned and down on the farm dessert. My Aunt Myna had a small farm in Richmond, VA when I was a little girl. Sadly she passed away when I was a teenager. I miss her personality. Hugs to you and everyone.
I am so sorry you haven't been feeling well. I will send out healing thoughts. Thanks for the add to the recipe. And I will check out your blog, too. Friedeggs is cool!
Amybyrd, You guys can keep the snow down there. I love it but it makes it hard for people to get around. We are under a blizzard watch until 7PM. It began snowing last evening around 5PM. WOW. I just posted an article on the home page. Perhaps you and Rebekka would like to try these.
I would start a discussion and see if anyone here knows and if after a few days you do not get a response then do a google search, that is unless you are in a big hurry. Read this post www.blogcatalog.com/community/... It is about reviews and the Federal Trade Commission.
Dear Amybyrd, I am happy that your peach cobbler was a hit. I love that fact that you use real butter in your mashed potatoes, so do I. There is nothing like butter! Have a wonderful day and Blessings to you. Catherine
Are you a diabetic? Need real fine recipe, dessert, for my brother-in-law. We are to have dinner with them next Saturday and I want to bake or make a great dessert for him, and also to understand how many or how much he may eat.
Wow you have your own chickens, talk about fresh eggs:) I buy them at the grocery store and by the time the eggs arrive there they must be at least a couple of days old, so to me that's "fresh eggs" hehe
Cool. We went to see the movie, "2012" today. It was really good. We went to bed at 6AM and got up at 2PM. We were smart to feed the kitties before we turned in. SO, we got a later start. Then afterward we got subs and pizza. Yay. I almost fell asleep because I was full. I am awake now though Hope they repair the leaky pipes.
Hope they fixed everything. Want to hang out tomorrow afternoon and into the evening, some? I might be going to our niece's recital for three hours but I will return. How's Buckey doing?
Good for you and tell them to make sure you are protected from those town crazies. I just bakes cookies on my skdd.wordpress.com TOll House cookies Four ways.
Hi Amy! I was thinking it might be fun to do a take-off on Anne's Chicken Pot Pie Wars post and do one about Northern vs. Southern chicken-n-dumplings. You interested in collaborating and representing the South?
You are most definitely not invisible. Off with the sad face and put on your happy face. Attitude ... yours ... is all that matters. Just do your very best everyday. It's is what we all must try to do. Hugs!
That is a Daniel question, or Administration. At the bottom of the page is a tab that says contact us. Call the toll free number and leave a message or Daniel or TOny. You ,ight want to start over and do it again and then ask then to delete the original entry for the same recipe name.
Hey. Who did you see in concert? GLad phone and water restored. I'll look at your blog. Did you hear/see about the 6 yr old little boy and the balloon? He's okay.
Actually, Amybird, Allow the coconut and hot cream to steep. Place a lid on top and then strain. This way the cream will take on the flavor of the coconut flakes better.
Take heavy cream in heavy pot. Add in coconut. Heat just to a boil and remove from heat. Strain out the coconut flakes and allow to cool. Refrigerate. Using a mixer, pour in the chilled coconut cream and sweeten with sugar to taste. Whip until medium soft peaks are formed and serve. Do not whip into tight peaks or it looses it's creamy appearance and texture. You can make it yourself.
Amybird, Make he recipe you are trying and tell me about when you will want to talk about it. You can post it to your blog and post a link in the discussions or just do a discussion. If you are trying someone's recipe, click on it and review it in the Recipes Tab. I don't know if you can add photos there. Admin is preparing for Blog WOrld in Las Vegas, NV. I hope I was able to help you.
Hey Sweetie, I am sorry you are having such a time. I didn't feel at all well after I ate my supper and out water from the faucet smelled like B.O. and I ahd already used it in my cooking and filtered water. Too bad I didn't catch on until after the fact. TOday is seems normal. What was that explosion the other night? I read about it a little while ago.
