Mom's Italian Goulash

This is similar to the goulash my mom made for us when I was a child. It's loosely based on the original Hungarian version. I make this for my family and it's a crowd pleaser. It feeds a crowd too. I've added the shredded mozzarella & pecorino romano to the top, it makes it more like a pasta bake. I serve with rolls & a green salad.

After looking up several rib recipes I decided they were too complicated and had too many steps. I made my own version. I bake them in the oven first for 15 minutes on each side and into the crock pot they go with a few simple ingredients. They fall off the bone, these are easy and fantastic! My husband doesn't like sauce dripping from the ribs so these don't have loads of sauce, but add as much as you like at the end!

This recipe appeared in our local paper awhile back it's so easy and the bread is as good as any artisan bread out there. Everytime I make this the bread is gone in an instant! I serve with homemade olive tapenade.

Hi there, hoping I can help with your question about attribution. Usually when a recipe is altered from the original a simple "Adapted from" followed by the recipe and name of the creator will suffice. Hope that helps!

I doubt that every recipe here is original. It would be great if they all were. One feature I want to add soon is for other cooks to make changes to existing recipes and have all the variations displayed. Is that sort of what you were thinking?
