Hi Tony, It's been such a long time since we've had the pleasure of your company in the community discussions. I would love for you to stop in, and also to upload a few more recipes, in order to fill up your recipe page. The other members will love trying out your food and I encourage you to choose some of theirs, too. Have a wonderful day!
Ha ha! I retweeted from the comment section of my today post! Ha ha ha ha ha! So what, I am pleased. YES! Next, Facebook, BC and BRWHA! I love it! GOsh, I feel like Tom Cruise when he jumped up and down on Oprah's interview sofa.
the message from 4 days ago was good for 4 hours. Still coming by proxy. I got message from Rich and I am unable to add links or photo he sent. I did email last night about this, but will send along the info he sent to me. Thanks.
Hey there. Amybyrd21 shout box at BC said she has been trying to get on HHM all night. She cannot. It is Sunday night and it has been a whole week since i could get on this site, all by myself. Please help. cc Angie & Daniel @ 1:48AM EST
Re: Camp Blogaway- Pre-registration starts Sunday at 12:01 Pacific time. Follow the link- there should be a button. I plan to attend...already cleared w/hubby. Give Patti a shout and see what you two can work out!
Tony, 1) Create a blog for your Mother ... she'd be great at it! 2) I saw the reason you want Chef M. here ... she's gorgeous! Ha! I am wearing a huge grin. Nice conference call and good to hear your voice again.
Tony, Come on and try it! This Saturdays Event is Canning and Preserving. Try making a jar of goodness and tell us all about it. If Alton Brown can do it, we should be able to do it also. Hope Blog World is great! Please start an Admin Discussion and photos and updates here so we can be a part of your experience! Have fun!
Here is my question. If we make a recipe on here is there some place we can post pictures of it. I am making one tonight and would like to post a picture of it and like a review (can be done on the recipe page) I think that would be neat so others can see it worked out for someone else.
Hi tonyb,
Yes:) My husband made the commercial Mac&Cheese and added cayenne to it and it's really good that way too. I can imagine combining cayenne to your recipes, yummmm
My problem is in HHM. No problems with the thumb shot, when I click on the "my blogs" tab in my profile the pink banner doesn't show. Also if I click on the FFC blog thumbnail pic to enlarge, same thing, no pink banner on this end.
Blogcatalog loads correctly if u need ref.
thanks!! M
hi Tony!
Been in touch with Penny. We r not sure why my FFC banner is not showing up on your site. Any thoughts?? U guys r profiling me this Friday and I would love my blog to show itself in all it's "glory!"
Thank you Tony. Also wanted to know if we can have it at top of discussions board until Saturday 10PM, then it can be pulled. We can have a signup of attendees, which hopefully, will encourage lots of BC's members to join us. Please let me know because I should very much like to get this up by tonight. Smiles.
hello, i guess i'm wondering can i post a recipe and give credit to the original one and say it's my version of it? i don't want to post anything that i shouldn't. thank you! have a nice week.
i was wondering if every recipe posted here is an original? i make a lot of things based loosely on a recipe and i make changes according to my liking. thanks!
Hi Tony! Check out my post about featuring member recipes on Twitter. Hope that was ok...we had discussed it during our call last months and I decided to do it today.
Oops sorry. The recipe is great the way it is. I guess that I am used to practicing for compitition where every little detail matters. Most people don't worry if the skin draws up on the breast, nor have I in the past. Also, the injection is just to get a little extra flavor throughout the meat, but this is mainly due to the fact that the judges only get a bite or two to determine if your bird is good or not. Sorry, I'll try to keep it simple for now on
Great. Also, another tip is to inject a mixture of equal parts butter and low sodium chicken broth into the breast, thigh, and leg just before cooking. Also, you can use toothpicks to hold the skin back, keeping it from pulling back on the breast as shown in my photo...as you can see, I forgot to use the toothpicks on this chicken. I went with Italian dressing rather than a homemade marinade for this recipe because a lot of competition cooks use it and win, it is also too simple and too good.
